My professional career began far from the wedding aisle: on the race track. I served as the main photographer and Art Director for a national drag racing organization, documenting high-speed events where everything happens once, under unpredictable and often challenging conditions. Racing taught me to anticipate the unexpected, work with absolute preparedness, and move instinctively to capture decisive moments—skills that translate directly, and beautifully, into wedding photography.

From there, I spent 13 years as the Art Director and photographer for Rhodes College in Memphis. That chapter shaped my understanding of refined visual storytelling, the power of subtlety, and the importance of consistency in brand identity. I worked closely with celebrities, dignitaries, and high-profile leaders, where professionalism, discretion, and impeccable quality were non-negotiable. Those experiences continue to guide the way I care for my clients today, ensuring that every interaction and every delivered image reflects excellence and intention.

Beyond the camera, I draw inspiration from travel, fine dining, and the quiet beauty found in unexpected places. These experiences inform my approach, helping me craft images that feel timeless, deeply personal, and full of life.

One of the greatest joys of my work is sharing it with my daughter, Sarah. She has been my second shooter and editing partner for over a decade, and together we bring a layer of trust, intuition, and shared vision that elevates every wedding we photograph.
